Miso Soup with
Tamanaha Miso Soy Sauce

Tamanaha Miso Soy Sauce, a long-established shop in Shuri, was founded during the Ansei era (1855-1860) of the Ryukyu Kingdom, before the Meiji Restoration. They still carry on the traditional method of making miso soup, which involves natural fermentation and allowing time for it to simmer.
